About
I am a physicist, specializing in condensed matter theory of systems involving strongly correlated electrons. In particular, I have worked on high-temperature superconductors as well as excitonic condensation. I received my Ph.D. from Masaryk University Brno, and my M.Sc. from Ecole Normale Superieure. I worked as a quantitative analyst in the banking industry for a few years. During that time, I studied the dynamics of financial assets, and focused on models for pricing complex interest rate derivatives.
